Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.

Bill was born June 26, 1942, the first-born child to Wilfred and Mary (Reuvers) Sartor, in Faribault, MN where he grew up. He married Virginia Elstad in 1964 and they had recently celebrated 50 years together.

Bill was employed with Foldcraft Company in Kenyon, MN for 36 years. Bill was actively involved in many organizations such as Rice County Habitat for Humanity.

Bill's life was extended by 17 years because of the gift of a heart valve donor. In keeping with Bill's strong sense of re-purposing and giving, his corneas will give sight to another.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Virginia "Gini" Sartor of Faribault; three children, Christine Sartor of Northfield, Jeff Sartor (Karen Hamilton) of Faribault, and Gregg Sartor (Angela) of Faribault; five grandchildren, Stephanie Mallery (Tyler), Rachel Sartor, Emily Sartor (daughters of Jeff), Isaac Sartor (son of Gregg and Angela), Solveig Sartor (daughter of Christine); and two great grandchildren, Olivia and Jax Mallery; his siblings, Jim Sartor (Nancy), sister-in-law, Pam Sartor, Susan Sartor (Roy Berger), Patricia Mullenmeister (John), Cynthia Holmstrom (Jack), and David Sartor (Jean) and by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
