William J. Duckett, age 69, of Faribault, died on Friday, July 23, 2010 at the St. Lucas Care Center in Faribault. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault, with Bernadette Tatge, pastoral minister of Divine Mercy Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault at a later date. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Faribault Area Hospice. William James Duckett, the son of Raymond and Alice (Weaver) Duckett was born on October 30, 1940 in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from Morristown High School in 1960. He married Jane Graff in 1962, they had five children and were later divorced. Bill worked as a salesman for an advertising agency mostly in the southern states, selling ads for maps and menus. He later worked for Taylor Trucking of Northfield, Gear & Broach of Waterville, and Brown Printing of Waseca. Bill enjoyed going to casinos, watching any sporting event, and loved cars. He is survived by four children, Kevin, Keith, Susan, and Julie; their mother, Jane Duckett; three sisters, Rajean Mansager of Albion, Iowa, Nancy Esmond of Eagan, MN, and Sheryl (Bob) Miller of Faribault; special friends, Shirley Becker and Wally Behrends; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Duckett; niece, Angie Miller; brother-in-law, Kenneth Mansager; daughter, Kelly; and nephew, Jeff Kingery.
