William "Bill" Stadler, age 59, of Galesville, Wisconsin and formerly of Faribault, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 in Faribault. At Bill's request, private family services will be held. Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault. In lieu of flowers, condolences in memory of Bill can be sent to the funeral home at 607 2nd Ave. N.W. in Faribault in care of the William "Bill" Stadler service. William David Stadler, the son of William Ellingson and Jorgene Ebert was born on February 10, 1952 in Faribault. Bill was later adopted by Harold Stadler. He attended the Faribault Senior High School and graduated with the class of 1970. Following graduation, Bill served four years in the United States Marine Corps and later graduated from St. Cloud University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. He was united in marriage to Toni Weisser in 1976. They had two children together and later divorced. Bill worked for many years at the Faribault Regional Center and later pursued a career in management. He enjoyed his family, golfing, painting, gardening and loved his computer. Bill is survived by his daughters, Autumn Stadler and Sirie (Chris) Basina and grandchildren Savanna and Marcus, all of Northfield; his mother, Jorgene Stadler of Faribault; his siblings, Julie Bakey of Florida, Laurie Stadler of Faribault, Sharon Stadler of Faribault, Martha Ellingson of California, Harold Stadler of Lakeville, TyRuben Ellingson of Arizona, Brooks Ellingson of Buffalo, Minnesota and Jay Ellingson of Alaska and by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his fathers, Bill Ellingson and Harold Stadler.
