Wallace W. Santo, age 91 of Janesville died on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at the Janesville Nursing Home.   Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville with Rev. Dr. Larry Griffin officiating. Interment will be in the St. John's-Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Iosco Township, Waseca County.   Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home in Janesville, and will continue on Thursday morning for one hour prior to services, at church.   Wallace William was born on August 31, 1917 in Alton Township, Waseca County to Edward and Alvina (Dimmel) Santo. He was baptized on September 23, 1917 and confirmed on July 12, 1931, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. Wally graduated from Janesville High School in 1936. On August 22, 1952 he was united in marriage to Dorothy Corrine Brink at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. Wally and Peg farmed and raised their family in Alton Township. After retiring from farming they continued to live on the farm until 2005 when they moved into Janesville. One of Wally's passions was music. He played for old time bands in the area for many, many years, and loved dancing with his wife Peg. He was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville where he had formerly served as elder.   Wally most cherished his faith and his family!   He is survived by his children, Mark (Margie) Santo, and Jill (Rob) Johnson, all of Janesville; by his grandchildren, Grady (Casie) Johnson, Mike Johnson, and Chris Johnson, and his great grandchildren, Ricky, Madeline, Dainen, Kaden, and Ashton; by his sister-in-law Florence Miller of Preston; by many nieces and nephews and other relatives.   He was preceded in death by his wife Peg on March 27, 2008; by his brother Art (Laura) Santo, and his sisters Leona (William) Westphal, and Sally (Victor) Blasing.   Casketbearers are:   Grady Johnson, Chris Johnson, Mike Johnson, Larry Blasing, LaVern Westphal, and Harold Westphal.
