Vivian M. Miller, age 88 of Janesville, died on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at the Janesville Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 8th at 1:00 pm at the Janesville United Methodist Church in Janesville with Rev. Peter Milloy officiating. Interment will be in the Janesville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service, at the church. Box 130472, Roseville, MN 55113. Vivian Mae was born on March 4, 1920 in Bemidji, MN to Walter L. and Minnie (Mealio) Burkett. She graduated from Bemidji High School. Vivian was united in marriage to Henry Joseph Miller on December 3, 1944 in Bemidji. In 1950 Vivian and Henry moved to Mankato, and in 1955 to Janesville. Vivian retired from the Janesville Nursing Home after 30 years of service as a cook. She was an active member of the Janesville United Methodist Church in Janesville. Vivian was an avid bowler, and enjoyed gardening. She treasured her cats, and loved time spent with her family. She is survived by her daughter Cindy and Tim Schultz of Prior Lake, MN; by her grandchildren Lindsey and Dave Thomas of Blaine, MN, David Mikkelson and Tanya Dodd of Burnsville, MN; by her great grandchild Luca Mikkelson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Llewellyn, and three sisters Lorraine, Ione, and Wilma; by her niece Marilyn.
