Vickie L. Bultman

Vickie L. Bultman, age 69, of Faribault, MN, passed away August 12, 2023, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN, following a brief illness.

Vickie Lynn was born on December 30, 1953, in Faribault, MN, to Donald and Arlene (Cate) Grundman.  She graduated from Faribault High School.  She went on to raise her 7 children and tend to the homestead. Many may remember her from her many years at Bernie’s Grill.  Prior to Bernie’s Grill she worked at the Donut Wagon and owned her own ice cream shop.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished her time with family. She was resourceful and talented in sewing, enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, and fishing.  A newly acquired talent upon retirement was tending to chickens.  Most of all she was a giving and compassionate person, finding ways to be generous to others in unique ways.

She is survived by her children and grandchildren, Bonnie (and Jeff) Schmidtke (Dustin), JoAnn Little, Sheri (and David) Stenbakken (Maddie), William (and Jay) Bultman (William), Samantha (and Max Kline) Bultman (Jonathan, Faith, Nichole), Melissa (and Troy) Greenslade (Xavier, Calliope), and Natasha (and Ryan) Brunner (Kiley, Evelynn, Kinsley); her in-laws and many other friends.

She was preceded in death by her spouses, William Bultman and Gerald Pumper; parents, Donald and Arlene; grandson, Alex; a brother in infancy; and her in-laws.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, with Bernadette Tatge, officiating.  Interment will be at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault.
