Vicki Lynn Borchardt (Knieff) died peacefully in her home on November 28, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.

Vicki was born October 22, 1952 in Faribault, MN. She attended Lincoln Elementary and Faribault Junior High. She graduated from Faribault High School in 1970. Vicki worked various jobs including kindergarten aid at Lincoln school, cook at Hardees and Huckleberry Inn before becoming a full-time mom after the birth of her second child. Vicki married Jay Borchardt in August of 1975. Vicki and Jay enjoyed going to drive-in movies, dancing to 50’s rock and roll, and spending time with good friends in Morristown, Warsaw, and Faribault. She spent her life as a devoted wife and loving mother.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Randy Knieff. 

She is survived by her husband; children, Don (and Betsy) Borchardt of Medford and Vincent Borchardt of Faribault; sister, Tammy (Donnie) Jindra of Owatonna and brother, Jeff Schroeder of Owatonna.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, Faribault with Rev. Gordon Orde officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. on Saturday prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
