Tyler J. Springer, age 17, of Faribault, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at the North Memorial Hospital in Minneapolis.   Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault. Interment will be at the Cannon City Cemetery in Cannon City.   Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault on Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday for one hour prior to the services at the church.   Tyler James Springer, the son of Melissa Skogen and Trenton Springer, was born on December 21, 1992 in Northfield. He attended school in Northfield and Faribault. As a youth, Tyler enjoyed drawing and was always active in sports including soccer and baseball. His passion became skateboarding, which he would teach to many including his brother, Hunter. Tyler also loved music, both listening to and creating his own music. He enjoyed being with his friends and many times was joking around with them and others. Tyler would work with his Grandpa Jaime and enjoyed shooting pool with him.   He is survived by his mother, Melissa (Raul) Martinez of Faribault; father, Trent Springer of Faribault; brother, Hunter Martinez, and four other siblings; maternal grandparents, Claudia St. Martin-Skogen of Faribault, and Bruce Skogen of Texas; paternal grandparents, Debbie and Jaime Sonnek of Faribault, and Randy Springer (Sara Jensen) of Faribault; great grandmothers, Doris St. Martin of Faribault, Veda Skogen of Deerfield Township, and Ruth Riffe of Cushing, OK; aunts, Kristie (Sakib) Springer-Akbar, and Stephanie Skogen; uncles, Nick Skogen (Dana Lund), Alex Skogen, Garrett Springer, and Michael Springer; five cousins, Allyssa, Brianna, Izzy, Piper, and Bryton; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.   He was preceded in death by his uncle, Jesse Springer; and grandfathers, Bernard St. Martin, Harry Skogen, and Jack Riffe.
