Trenton J. Springer-Riffe, age 39, of North Mankato, MN and formerly of Faribault, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, March 9, 2015 at his residence in North Mankato.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the River Valley Church, 722 Ravine St., Faribault with Pastor Mark Kenney, officiating. Interment will be at the Cannon City Cemetery in Cannon City Township, Rice County.
Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday for one hour prior to services.
Trenton James, the son of Randy and Deb (Riffe) Springer, was born November 10, 1975, in Owatonna, MN. He graduated from the Faribault Senior High School and South Central College of Mankato with a business degree. Trent was currently working as a tattoo artist and caring for two of his children. He enjoyed cooking, painting, drawing, riding his motorcycle and spending time on adventures with his children.
He is survived by his mother, Deb (and Jaime) Sonnek of Faribault; his father, Randy Springer (Sara Jensen) of Faribault; by his children, Trinity, Ryder, Meadow, and Lily; by three siblings, Garrett Springer, Michael Springer, and Kristie Springer (and Sakib) all of Faribault; by his maternal grandmother, Ruth Riffe of Cushing, OK; and by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son Tyler Springer, by his brother, Jesse J. Springer, maternal grandfather, Jack Riffe, paternal grandparents, Rudolph and Delores Springer, by his nephew Lucas and other relatives.
