Trent C. Wilcox

Trent C. Wilcox, age 60, of Morristown, MN, and formerly of Hastings, MN, passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2023.

Trent Carl was born on April 30, 1962, in Blue Earth, MN, to Raymond and Margaret (Frank) Wilcox. He moved to Hastings when he was 5 years old, graduated from Hastings High School in 1980 and later obtained a business degree from National American University. Trent worked for Regina Hospital as an engineer along with owning and operating his own cleaning business. He was married to Valerie Sommers on November 1, 1986, had two daughters, moved to Woodbury, and were later divorced. He spent many years as an engineer for Guidant, later re-named Boston Scientific. Trent spent the last 9 years in Morristown and enjoyed spending time by the lake or bonfire with friends and family, telling jokes and stories. His greatest enjoyment in life was making everyone around him smile.

He is survived by his daughters, Michelle Wilcox and Sarah Wilcox; granddaughter, Ruby Wandersee; brothers, Kent Wilcox (Karen) and Brent Wilcox; sisters, Sharon Wilcox and Sandy Kutz (Dave); and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Margaret.

Memorials services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 210 W. Lake St., Waterville, MN.
