Tomas Alonzo

Tomas Quila Alonzo, age 67, of Faribault, MN, died on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at the Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, with Pastor Eddie Feliciano, officiating.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.  For those unable to attend, the service will be live streamed through a link on Tomas’ obituary page.

Tomas Quila Alonzo was born on September 15, 1952 in Joyabaj Quiche, Guatemala to Tomas Quila and Francisca Alonzo.  He was married to Micaela Coj in September, 1979 in Joyabaj.  Tomas enjoyed reading the bible, spending time with his grandchildren, and gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Micaela Coj de Quila, son, Raul Quila, son, Tomas A. Quila (and Berly Mendez), daughter, Francisca Quila, daughter, Juana Quila (and Sebastian Sut), son, Martin Quila, and son, Benjamin Quila; grandchildren, Jason Tino, Johan Castillo Quila, Andy Tino, Anthony Quila, Abraham Quila, and Erika Tino; and many other relatives and friends.
