Timothy L. “Tim“ Hauschen, age 60 of Faribault, MN passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020 at the Mala Strana Care and Rehabilitation Center in New Prague, MN following an extended illness.

A private family service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2020, followed by a Celebration of Life from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Hauschen family home.

Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.

Timothy Lowell, the son of Ellsworth “Butch” and Joan (Garrelts) Hauschen was born on December 1, 1959 in Emmetsburg, IA.  He attended Ruthven High School and graduated with the class of 1978.  On May 31, 1980 he was united in marriage to Bonnie Lahti in Emmetsburg, IA.  For 35 years Tim owned and operated Central Micro Systems.  Family was always the most important thing to Tim.  He enjoyed attending his son’s hockey games, never missing a game or tournament.  He also enjoyed attending his daughters’ races.  Attending Disney Marathon weekend in January 2019 and attending her first half marathon in Mankato in 2019.  The birth of his grandchildren was also very special to Tim.  For many years he was a part of the planning and executing the day of events for the Faribault Balloon Rally.  He also enjoyed camping with his family, family vacations to Gulf Shores, boating on the lake, fishing, four wheeling, watching/going to Vikings and Twins games with his kids.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Hauschen of Faribault; by his children, Amber (Justin) James and Jeremy (Alissa) Hauschen, both of Faribault; by two grandchildren, Aubrielle Hauschen and Liam Hauschen; by his father, Ellsworth Hauschen of Emmetsburg, IA; by his brothers, Larry Hauschen of Bardstown, KY, David Hauschen of Des Moines, IA and Steven (Dawn) Hauschen of Emmetsburg, IA and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, brother, Kenny Hauschen, sister-in-law, Phyllis Hauschen and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wes and Alice Lahti.
