Tim (Paul) Brown, age 68, of Faribault MN, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2016, at his home following a brief illness.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, December 3, 2016, from 2:00 - 5:00 at the Eagles Club in Faribault.
Tim was born March 14, 1948, in Ithaca NY, to J. Winthrop and Barbara (Warner) Brown. Following high school he served in the U.S. Air Force. He lived in many places across the country providing electrical work in various fields including mines in Colorado. Tim was married to Vicky Joy on June 6, 1998 in Waterville MN. Following their marriage, they lived in Germany for 8 years. Tim's passion was fishing of all kinds from lakes and rivers to the ocean. He loved to share his passion with everyone, especially with kids. He was an avid golfer since childhood with his father. He looked forward to his yearly golf trip with his brothers. He enjoyed playing darts and was a fixture on leagues in Minneapolis and Faribault for many years. Tim had and infectious smile and was willing to help anyone.
He is survived by his wife, Vicky Joy of Faribault, brothers, Eric (Carolyn) Brown of Webster, NY, Walter "Butch" Brown of Bloomington, MN, Mike (Marlene) Brown of Berthoud, CO and sisters Mary (Skip) Simonton of Rancho Mirage, CA, Linda (Tom) Kundert of Lakewood, CO and Pat (Chris) Smith of Fort Morgan, CO; six nephews, four nieces and numerous great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Barbara (Warner) Brown, and J. Winthrop Brown Jr. and niece, Sally Kundert
