Thomas "Tom" Lee

Thomas L. “Tom” Lee, age 65 of Faribault, MN passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at his home following an extended illness surrounded by his family.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, Faribault.

All visitors are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines and practice social distancing when present at the visitation.  By request of the family those attending are asked to wear a mask and we will be limiting the number of attendees in the building to 15-20 at time.  Masks are available at the Funeral Home.  If you are unable to attend please feel free to send your card and remembrance for the Lee Family in c/o Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, MN 55021.

Thomas Leslie, the son of Fred and June (Evenson) Lee was born on February 19, 1955 in St. Paul, MN.  He attended Onamia High School and graduated with the class of 1973.  On June 8, 1974 he was united in marriage to Sherry Burggraff in Milaca.  Tom worked for many years at Sammon Home Improvement and later started his own siding, gutter and home improvement company, Thomas Lee LLC.  Tom was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and being outdoors.  He also enjoyed playing the guitar, collecting trains, riding his motorcycle, building everything with his hands and was a keeper of stones.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Lee of Faribault; by his children and their families, Kelly (and Robert) Velander of Faribault and their daughters, Lexi and Alli, Raschelle (and Tony) Hall of Pomona, KS and their children, Ethan, Isabella, Travis, Cody and Dylan, Cisco (and Kim) Lee of Kilkenny, MN and their children, Sophia, Cain and Harper, and Crystel (and Caleb) Becker of Faribault and their daughter, Kinslee; by his siblings, Bonnie Lee of Isle, MN, Linda Lee of St. Cloud, MN, David (Vicky) Lee of Carson City, NV, Robin Lee of Wilmar, MN and Lori Jacobson of Montgomery, MN and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Lee and June Horn and his brother Mike Lee.
