Thomas Hassler

Thomas E. Hassler, age 61, of Faribault, MN, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at the Emeralds Care Facility in Faribault.

Thomas Edward was born on October 20, 1959 in Faribault to Delbert and Gloria (Novak) Hassler.  He attended Faribault High School.  Tom worked for various factories in the area for many years.  His true passion was working on cars. He helped his father with his auto body shop and enjoyed working on the mechanics of cars also.  Tom assembled model cars and enjoyed operating remote control cars.  He enjoyed projects that involved etching glass and was a longtime pool league player.

He is survived by his sisters, Shirley Pumper of Northfield, Bonnie Tikalsky (Emil) of New Prague, and Jean Hassler (Erv Kuchinka) of Shieldsville; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Gloria; and his brother, Tim D. Hassler; and his brother in law Roger Pumper.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 10:00 – 12:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, followed by interment at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault.
