Theresa "Terri" White

Theresa D. White, age 82, of Northfield, MN and formerly of Faribault, MN, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019 in Northfield.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault.  Interment will be at the St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Shieldsville, MN at a later date.

Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Theresa Delores, the daughter of James and Catherine (Kelly) Katra was born on May 21, 1937 in Faribault.  She attended Bethlehem Academy and graduated from Faribault High School with the class of 1955.  Theresa was united in marriage to Allen E. White Sr. on November 26, 1955 in Faribault.  She worked at Sheldahl in Northfield and was a teacher’s aide at McKinley and Nerstrand Elementary Schools.  Terri and Allen then worked as the managers of Four Seasons Apartments.  For many years Terri also worked at Boyes Pharmacy until her retirement.  Terri and Allen enjoyed their time on French Lake.  They loved hosting family gathers at the lake with Terri cooking and baking for all.  Many winters they would snowmobile many places then enjoyed winters in Texas.

She is survived by her children, Debra White (special friend, Terry Barta), Allen (Lisa) White Jr., and Kim White (fiancé, Mark Besser); grandchildren, Aric (Theresa) Pratt, Dan (Jill) Stenbakken, Gerry Ress, Lazsahn (Gene) Leverson, Scott Hofbauer (special friend Susan Pete), Lekeisha Hofbauer, Miranda (Matt) DeGrood, and Chad White (special friend Emma Brumfield);  18 great grandchildren; brother, Larry Katra; brother-in-law, Bill Naughton; her beloved dog, Skippy; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen; parents, James and Catherine; sisters, Irene Schweisthal and Shirley Naughton; and brother, James Katra.
