Theresa E. Kuntze

Theresa Kuntze, age 49, of Medford, MN passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at The Emeralds at Faribault from complications of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).

Theresa Elaine, the daughter of Francis “Buzz” Kuntze and Marcy Denice (Baxter) Fox, formerly Kuntze, was born on December 24, 1974 in Faribault. Theresa grew up in Faribault and was a total daddy’s girl. She attended Faribault High School. Theresa enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings, crafting, baking, and spending quality time with her children and nieces and nephews. She especially loved Christmas time, finding all the deals to spoil her children and nieces and nephews. She was so loved by all of them.

Theresa was the kind of person who only wanted the best for others; though she could be abrasive and sometimes harsh, she always was coming from a place of love. She adored every person for their unique qualities and the joys that came along the way. When she truly loved you, she accepted you. You were hers and she was yours, blood or not. Her loyalty was always as quick as her tongue, and she wouldn’t think twice to put you in your place.

Theresa is survived by her children, Audie (River) Kuntze and Francis Kuntze; sister, Karen Blackstad and Jim Blackstad; brother, Tim (Shandice) Kuntze; and his many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Walter Kuntze; and significant other, Tony Casio.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory.
