Suzanne Berger, age 58, of Faribault, died on Friday, November 18, 2011 at the Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis following a brief illness.             Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Dr., Faribault. Interment will be at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault.             Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Tuesday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday for one hour prior to the services at the church.             Suzanne Karen Torano, the daughter of Jose and Louise (Page) Torano, was born on September 1, 1953 in Baltimore, MD.   She was raised and attended high school in Lake Worth, FL. Sue was married to Robert F. Berger Sr. for nine years. They had two sons, Matthew and Thomas. She worked for many years in clerical work with several companies including Polzin Glass and was a librarian aide at Bethlehem Academy. Sue also worked as a CNA at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home in Faribault. She was dedicated to helping others, serving a term on the District 656 School Board and helping at Infants Remembered In Silence (IRIS). She loved her pets, especially her cats and dog, Buddy, and liked to spend time reading. Most of all she loved her time with her grandson, Noah, whom she was an amazing grandma to.             She is survived by her sons, Matthew Berger and Thomas Berger, both of Faribault; her grandson, Noah Francis Berger; step-children, Jeff Berger, Angie (Chad) Packer, and Robert Berger Jr., all of Faribault, and Cindy (Dave) Hargarten of Delano, MN; 10 step grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.             She was preceded in death by her parents; and the father of her sons, Robert Berger Sr.             Memorials may be directed to IRIS in memory of Sue.
