Susan Lopez

Susan K. Lopez, age 65, of Janesville lost her battle with cancer on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville with Pastor Larry Griffin and Pastor Paul Muther officiating. Interment will be held at St. John's Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Iosco Township.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to services at the church on Tuesday.

Arrangements are being completed by Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home of Janesville.

Susan Kay, daughter of Willard and Edna (Voges) Arndt, was born on December 31, 1950 in Waseca, Minnesota. She attended Trinity Lutheran School and Janesville High School. She lived in Minneapolis from 1971 until 1998, where she worked at a nursing home for 20 years. On June 20, 1998, she was united in marriage to George Lopez in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. They then moved to Janesville where Susan worked at Budget Mart and Expressway until retiring in 2013. Susan enjoyed going to casinos and loved animals, especially her dog, Skye.

Susan is survived by her siblings, Richard (Carol) Arndt of Janesville, Shirley (Roger) Meister of Mankato, Gary (Paula) Arndt of Janesville, and Diane Radunz (Terry Lundgren) of Janesville; many nieces and nephews; and by many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
