Stanley Paquette

Stanley P. Paquette, age 86, of Faribault, MN, passed away, September 26, 2015, at the St. Lucas Care Center in Faribault.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault on Wednesday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday for one hour prior to the services at the church.

Stanley Paul was born on May 4, 1929 in Faribault to Hilaire and Mildred (Bull) Paquette. He was a lifelong farmer in Cannon City Township, Rice County. Stan enjoyed farming, caring for his cattle, and the wildlife that existed near his home. He took up photography and captured many wildlife pictures and scenes of Faribault. On a weekly basis he often enjoyed a game of cards with his brother and cousins. Stan also volunteered his time as a 4H leader for the Cannon City Cardinals.

He is survived by his brother, Dale (Kay) Paquette of Faribault; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary (Bob) Cushman; brother, Robert Paquette; and nieces, Debbie, Vickie, and Barbara Cushman.
