Shirley Yule

Shirley M. Yule, age 91 of Faribault died Thursday, April 8, 2010 at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home in Faribault.   Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault, with the Rev. Jan G. Linn, officiating. Interment will be held at the Cannon City Cemetery.   Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.   Shirley Mae Davis, the daughter of Nathan and Pearl (Wright) Davis, was born on August 21, 1918 in Maynard, MN. On December 13, 1947 she was united in marriage to Rhody C. Yule at the parsonage of the Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church in Faribault. Shirley and Rhody lived for many years north of Faribault in Forest Township. Shirley enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading and collecting owls.    She is survived by her husband, Rhody Yule of Faribault; by her son, Robert (Kathy) Meyer of Faribault; by 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Paul Yule, her daughter, Judith Spitzack, her sister, Marjorie Davis and by her brother, George Davis.
