Sherri J. Pavek

Sherri J. Pavek, age 65, of Faribault, MN, passed away July 2, 2023, at her residence following an extended illness surrounded by her family.

Sherri Jean was born on May 19, 1958, in Faribault, MN, to Gary Sr. and Maxine (Ozmun) Benton.  She attended Faribault Schools and was later married to Kenneth Pavek Sr.  She took great pride in raising her four children and enjoyed their family fishing trips when the kids were young.  Sherri enjoyed being in her home, baking, canning, crocheting, scrapbooking, garage sales, and watching monkey videos.  She always treasured the gifts people gave her and created collections from them.  She took pride in spoiling their dogs, Goldie, Duke, Babes, Brea, and Daisy.  Sherri was caring, loving, full of humor, and could make anyone laugh.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Pavek Sr.; children, Kenneth Pavek Jr., Kendra Gardner (Jeremy), Kurtis Pavek (Jessica), and Katrina Cupp (Tony); grandchildren, Adrian and Madison Pavek, Alex, Jeremiah, Stevie, Jacob, Charlotte, and Leighton Gardner, Olivia and Crew Pavek, and Landon and Layah Cupp; siblings, Gary Benton Jr. (Vicki), Kim Brooks (Phil Sr.), Connie Springer (Bobby), Brenda Coon (Kevin), Rich Voegele (Jennifer), Brande Westerberg, Matt Benton, and Tabby Dimmel; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gary Benton Sr., and Maxine Voegele; stepfather, Richard (Dick) Voegele; her grandparents, Henry and Olive (Ollie) Ozmun; and other loved ones.

Private family services will be held.
