Sharon Spartz

Sharon M. Spartz, age 67 of Lonsdale, MN passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Patrick, 7525 Dodd Road, Faribault, MN with Fr. George Grafsky officiating.

Memorial visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault, MN.

Sharon Margaret, the daughter of Don and Joan (Paquette) Cashin, was born on July 2, 1951 in Faribault.  She attended Bethlehem Academy High School and graduated with the class of 1969.  Sharon worked for 45 years at McQuay/Daikin retiring as Production Control Supervisor.  In retirement Sharon volunteered at the elementary schools in Lonsdale and New Market.  Sharon enjoyed spending time with all of her family and was the instigator of fun, especially with her grand kids and great nieces and nephews.  She also loved to travel, golfing, Christmas baking, gardening, canning, being out at the lake and fishing.

Sharon is survived by her longtime partner Tom Herda of Lonsdale and his family, Tony (Cindy) Herda of Webster, MN and Julie (John) Bogue of Northfield, MN and grandchildren, Mackenzie, Lucas, Noah and Jackson; by her siblings, Mike (Chris) Cashin of Faribault, Kathy (Bob) Lutz of St. Peter, MN, Colleen (Ken) Wagner of New Prague and Ann (Dennis) Duban of Faribault; by five nephews, four nieces, four great-nephews and three great-nieces and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, nephew, Darrin Duban and by her former spouse, Tony Spartz.
