Scarlett Fougner

Scarlett Grace Fougner was born on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 7:29 a.m.  Although Scarlett was born without a heartbeat, she touched many of our lives and hearts forever.  Scarlett is the cherished daughter of Jon and Emily Fougner (Thiry) of Mankato, Minnesota.    Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Central Lutheran Church in Elk River.     Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday for one hour prior to services at church.     Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home and Crematory of Faribault.    Scarlett is mourned on Earth by her parents, Jon & Emily Fougner of Mankato; her maternal grandparents Mike and Kim Thiry of Elk River; her paternal grandparents Deb Knight of Plymouth and Scott (Kelly) Fougner of Detroit Lakes; aunts and uncles Scott Thiry of Elk River, Katelyn Thiry of Elk River, Christina (Dan) Kirkpatrick of Ankeny, Iowa, Nic (Nichole) Fougner of Germany, Joe (Joni) Lager of Coon Rapids and Andrew Jones of Detroit Lakes; her cousin Grant Kirkpatrick; her Godparents Aimee (Vince) Siirtola of Elk River; great grandmothers Grace Bergh of Duluth, Barb Thiry of Duluth, Lois Fougner of Woonsocket, SD, Eileen Hanks of White Lake, SD and Grace Knight of St. Louis Park, and by many other loving family members and friends.    Scarlett is greeted in Heaven by her Great-Grandfathers, James Bergh, Clifford Thiry, John Hanks, and Howard Fougner; and her two infant cousins.    Scarlett's family would like to thank the District One Hospital and I.R.I.S organization for all of their generosity and support in this difficult time.
