Sarah Henry

Sarah M. Henry, age 96, of New Prague, MN, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at her home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the new location of Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault on Tuesday from 5 - 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday for one hour prior to the services at the church.

Sarah Marie was born on June 17, 1921, on the family farm in Bridgewater Township, Rice County, MN to Richard and Anna (Gangloff) Condon. At an early age her family moved to Dundas and Sarah graduated from high school in 1938. She was married to Ralph F. Henry on March 12, 1943 in Mineral Wells, TX. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2000. Sarah first worked as a credit manager for Montgomery Wards then later as a bookkeeper for several auto dealers in New Prague and Faribault.

She is survived by her children, Dennis Henry of St. Cloud, MN, and Darreth Swenson of Owatonna, MN; three grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Clayton Condon of Skokie, IL; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; parents, Richard and Anna; and siblings, Priscilla Kern, Beth Akemann, and Calvin Condon.
