Russell J. Stadler, age 75, of Rosemount, MN, passed away June 9, 2023, at All Saints Senior Living in Shakopee, MN.
Russell James was born on June 7, 1948, in Faribault, MN, to Frank J. and Phyllis A. (Vailencour) Stadler. He graduated from Bethlehem Academy High School and served in the U.S. Navy. Russ graduated from Austin Vocational College with an associate degree in electrical engineering and worked for 35 years at Lockhead Martin. He was married to Linda L. Timmers on July 21, 1973. Russ was very involved with Boy Scouts and enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and camping. He often was known as “coach” for always being in attendance for his son’s and grandchildren’s sporting events.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Stadler; sons, Nate Stadler (Tanya), Brent “B.J.” Stadler (Jennifer); grandchildren, Gavin, Emily, Amber, Gabe, and Paige; siblings, Janet Mostrom, Dan Stadler (Linda), Larry Stadler (Judy), Weslie “Buster” Stadler, and Mark Stadler (Lisa); and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Phyllis; and siblings, Elaine Hadley, and Leslie “Butch” Stadler.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, with Sr. Kathleen Hayes, pastoral minister at Divine Mercy Church, officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Interment will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault.
