She graduated from Pemberton High School, and went on to attend Mankato Teacher's College, and business school in St. Paul. Over the years Rosie worked for Goodwill Industries, and Catholic Charities in the Twin Cities area. She attended St. Ann Catholic Church in Janesville. Rosie enjoyed crafts and needle work, and traveled throughout the United States and abroad. She is survived by her sister Ruth Groeneveld of North Mankato, and her sisters-in-law Margaret Gossman and Lois Gossman, both of Janesville; by her niece Sue (Jerry) Schoenfeld of Waseca, and her nephews Daniel Gossman and Scott Gossman both of Janesville, and Timothy (Susan) Gossman of Chatfield; by many other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her two brothers, Elmer and Joseph. When friends and family visited Rosie and were getting ready to leave, she would always say "so long" instead of "good bye" to remind them that their visit was not ended, but only paused until their next meeting. We now say so long to our dear Rosie.
