Ronald L. Schorn, age 65, of Milltown, WI and formerly of Faribault, died Monday August 22, 2011. A memorial prayer service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 7:00 p.m at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory in Faribault with Pastor Rick Roushar, officiating. Memorial visitation will be on Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Ron's home in Milltown, WI from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Ronald LeRoy Schorn, the son of Oren and Leona (Phillipps) Schorn was born on July 20, 1946. He attended Prescott High School and then entered the U.S. Army, serving in Germany. In 1975 he was united in marriage to Margaret "Peggy" Oppegard. They were married for 25 years and later divorced. Ron worked for 25 years at McQuay International and then semi retired and moved to Milltown, WI. Later Ron was united in marriage to Nancy LeMay. Ron was known for his great sense of humor and his great faith in the Lord. He also loved to sing and ride his Harley. He is survived by his wife Nancy LeMay of Milltown, WI; by children, Greg (Joan) Schorn of Newport, MN, Donnie (Amy) Schorn of St. Paul, MN, Mark Schorn of St. Cloud, MN, Metiea Rodriguez of St. Paul, MN, Angela (Rick) Jeanes of Faribault, Jason (Dineen) Anderson of Faribault, Edward (Lori) Anderson of Maple Grove, MN, Allen LeMay of Milltown, WI and Adam LeMay of Milltown, WI; by his granddaughter and his hero, Jody Stadler Wilson and her husband Chad of Faribault and several other grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews; by two brothers, Allan (Shirley) Schorn of Finlayson, MN and Donovan Schorn of Hastings, MN; by his brothers and sisters in law, William (Catherine) Oppegard of Shieldsville, Saverna Chapman of St. Paul, MN, David (Karen) Oppegard of Plymouth, MN, Victoria Bishko of Tucson, AZ, and Ramona Liverseed and Theresa Downs, both of Faribault. He was preceded in death by his parents, his former wife Peggy Schorn on Oct. 24, 2010, by his mother in law, Margaret Oppegard and by two brothers-in-law, Greg Liverseed and Richard Downs.
