Roger A. Krienke, age 53, of Waseca, died suddenly on Thursday, January 30, 2014, at his home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville, with Reverend Dr. Larry Griffin and Pastor Paul Muther, officiating. Interment will be held at St. John's - Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Iosco Township, Waseca County.
Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
Arrangements are being completed by the Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory of Janesville.
Roger Allen, the son of Roland "Rollie" and Evangeline (LaFayette) Krienke, was born on January 20, 1961 in Waseca. He was baptized on February 19, 1961, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. At a young age, Roger and his family moved to various communities in the area including: Pemberton, Mankato, Madelia, Freedom Township, and Waseca. He enjoyed being involved in the DAC programs and also spending time at Sunday School. Roger always had a smile and would sing "You Are My Sunshine" to his family and friends. He moved to Elm Homes in Waseca in 2011 where he enjoyed being with his many friends.
He is survived by his parents, Rollie and Evangeline Krienke of New Richland; his aunts and uncles, Vi (Del) Radloff of Janesville, Jan Radloff of Minneapolis, Blossom (Paul) Stennes of New Richland, Erma LaFayette of New Richland, June Fasnacht of Madison Lake, Marilyn (Harvey) Rannow of Madelia, Carolyn (Ben) Kimbro of Black Duck, Ramona Nickley of Barnesville, Delmer LaFayette and Junior LaFayette, both of Janesville, and Donald (Marie) LaFayette of Winthrop; and his many cousins who were very important to him. Roger is also survived by his family and friends at Elm Homes in Waseca.
He was preceded in death by his uncles, Bob Radloff, Robert Fasnacht, and Jerome Nickley.
