Robert A. “Bob” Voegele, age 70 of Faribault, MN passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at The Emeralds of Faribault following an extended illness.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church with Fr. Brandon Theisen officiating. Interment will be held at the Calvary Cemetery, Faribault.
Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday for one hour prior to services.
Robert Albert, the son of John and Florence (Hanscom) Voegele was born on June 3, 1949 in Faribault. He attended Faribault High School and graduated with the class of 1967. On February 9, 1973 he was united in marriage to Sharon Kari in Morristown, MN. Sharon preceded Bob in death on January 25, 1997. Bob worked for over 40 years as a truck driver for BMI in Faribault and Northwest Ashpalt in Shakopee. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, farming, being outside, spending time with his children and grandchildren and visiting with friends. He was a member of the Dark House Association and the NRA.
He is survived by his five children, Mark (Sherry) Voegele of Faribault, Clarence Voegele and fiancé Robin Love of Faribault, Lisa Voegele of Cannon Falls, MN, Clayton (Victoria) Voegele of Faribault and Thomas (Stacy) Voegele of Faribault; by 8 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren and a great granddaughter expected soon; by his brother, Ray Voegele and Darlene Hogsven of Faribault; by his sister, Jane Jeno of California and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two sons, Jerome and John Voegele and by three siblings, John, Rosemary and Ronnie Voegele.
