Robert Stadler

Robert J. "Bucky" Stadler, age 68, of Faribault, MN passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017, in Grand Meadow, MN.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017, at 10:30 am at the new location of Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N. in Faribault, with Fr. Henry Doyle officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and on Friday for one hour prior to services.

Robert James, the son of Albert and Leona (Durand) Stadler, was born on May 9, 1949 in Faribault. He attended Faribault High School. Bucky did drywall for Olympic Companies for many years and later owned and operated Stadler Drywall. Bucky enjoyed spending time with his family, especially fishing and pontooning on Mazaska Lake. On August 23, 1975 he was united in marriage to Vickie Greenslade and they had two children. They later divorced. Later he was united in marriage to Linda Neal on August 11, 2004, in Faribault.

He is survived by his wife Linda Stadler of Faribault, MN; by three children, Tara (Mark) Meili of Shieldsville, MN, Camey (Jeff) Thibodeau and Ryan (Karey) Stadler of New Prague, MN; by two step daughters, Heather Neal of Faribault, MN and April Neal and Michael Wielock of Los Angeles, CA; by 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; by two brothers, Kenny (Amber) Stadler of Northfield, MN and Ronnie (Denise) Stadler of Faribault, MN; by four sisters, Eunice Mahagnoul of Faribault, MN, Audrey Stephens of Port Arthur, TX, Pat Knott and Barb Savoie both of Faribault, MN; by sisters-in-law, Cheryl (Charlie) Fleck of Warsaw, MN and Diane (Chris) Smart of Seffner, FL and Francine Stadler of Faribault, MN; by brothers-in-law, Norman Ress of Faribault, MN and Marvin Goodknight of Iowa; by many nieces and nephews an by his faithful dogs and cats, Odie, Zoey, Meme and Toby.

He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Harry, Paul, Herbie, David "Judd", Donald and Bill; by two sisters, Doris Goodknight and Phyllis Ress, by an infant sister, Margie Stadler and by a still born sister, Pamela Stadler.
