Robert Nawrocki

Robert J. "Bob" Nawrocki, age 64 of Faribault, MN died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 10:30 am at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault. Interment will be held at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and at the church on Thursday for one hour prior to services.

Robert James, the son of Stanley and Helen (Murowski) Nawrocki, was born on May 10, 1953 in Fairmont, MN. He attended Grenada High School and graduated with the class of 1971. Following high school Bob attended Mankato Vocational School. Early in his working years he repaired copiers and small electronics. In 1989 his family moved to Faribault and Bob worked as the night manager at Holiday Gas Station for 27 years, retiring in November of 2016. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren at all of their activities, watching the Wild and Twins with his family and in his younger years hunting.

He is survived by his five children, Nathan (Cindy) Nawrocki of Faribault, MN, Aaron (Katie) Nawrocki of Fort Hood, TX, Andrew (Samantha) Nawrocki of Barksdale Air Force Base, LA, Matthew Nawrocki and Laura Nordhausen of Faribault, MN and Michaelina Nawrocki of Faribault, MN; by 10 grandchildren, Chelsie, Joshua, Jordan, Ethan, Benjamin, Andrew Jr., Olivia, Clara, Raymond and Noah Nawrocki; by three siblings, Dorothy Orr of New Prague, MN, Joseph (Carole) Nawrocki of Richfield, MN and Jack (Linda) Nawrocki of Mankato, MN; by the mother of his children, Sally Walburn of Faribault, MN and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jerry.
