Robert Kubinski

Robert P.  Kubinski, age 61, of North Carolina and formerly of Faribault, died on Friday, July 23, 2010 at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis following a brief illness.   Visitation hours will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.    No funeral services will be held.   Robert Peter Kubinski, the son of George and Berthine "Babe" (Langeslag) Kubinski, was born on November 27, 1948 in Faribault. He attended Faribault High School. Bob was a construction worker for most of his life, residing for the last 28 years in North Carolina. He enjoyed working on cars, horses, and hunting.   He is survived by six children, Becky Kubinski (and Mike Malecha), Brenda Kubinksi, and Brian Kubinski (and Ann Frailey), all of Faribault, and B.J. (and Rahannah) Kubinksi, Brandon (and Autumn) Kubinski, and Derrick "Skeeter" (and Kristina) Baylas, all of Colorado; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; 11 siblings, Patricia Flarup of Arkansas, Geraldine (and Leo) Valek of Faribault, Douglas (and Hazal) Kubinski of TN, Roger (and Jane) Kubinski of Faribault, Georgia (and Bernarr) Kline of Faribault, Jacqueline (and Bruce) Kline of Faribault, Kenneth (and Jackie) Kubinski of SC, Sandra (and Ron) Prinzing of Faribault, Barbara (and Dan) Reuvers of Morristown, Richard (and Sandy) Kubinski of NC, and Jean Ivey of NC; sister-in-law, Kathy Kubinski of Faribault; his former wife, Mary Baylas; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.   He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David and Bernard Kubinksi; and former wife, Sandra (Hand) Westerhouse.
