Robert Erpenbach

Robert N. "Bob" Erpenbach, age 57 of Faribault, MN, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna, MN following a short illness.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive in Faribault. Interment will be held at the Calvary Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the new location of Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N. in Faribault on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. No visitation will be held at the church on Saturday.

Robert Neal, the son of William and Mary (O'Neil) Erpenbach, was born on August 11, 1960 in Glencoe, MN. Bob attended Bethlehem Academy High School and graduated with the class of 1978. On June 23, 2006 he was united in marriage to Susan (Kopplow) Olson at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Faribault. Bob was working as the finance manager for Just Food Co-op in Northfield, MN and he also worked part time at the Legacy Golf Course in Faribault and enjoyed the time spent on the course with his playing partners. Bob also devoted many years to coaching youth basketball at Bethlehem Academy and had great relationships with the many young men and women that had the opportunity to play for him. He was a member of the Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Erpenbach of Faribault, MN; by his step sons, Bryan Olson and fiancé Samantha Schmidt and Michael Olson both of Faribault, MN; by his father, Deacon William "Bill" Erpenbach of Faribault, MN; by his siblings, Joan E. Erpenbach of Bloomington, MN, Michael (Kari) Erpenbach of Oakdale, MN, Peter Erpenbach of Edina, MN and Teresa (John) Rosenthal of Eagan, MN and by other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Erpenbach, by his aunt, Joan K. Erpenbach and other relatives.
