Robert Crandall

Robert L. Crandall, age 93 of Faribault, MN passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the District One Hospital in Faribault.

Robert, the son of James and Rose (Wirz) Crandall was born on August 8, 1927 in Anoka, MN.  He attended high school in Anoka and Elk River, MN.  Later he moved to Faribault and worked at the Faribault Regional Center for many years.  He enjoyed hiking and biking especially on the Sakatah Trail, vacationing in Mexico, playing euchre and 500, watching CNBC to stay up to date on the stock market and John Wayne movies, he knew them all.  He also enjoyed collecting stamps so that he had something to do on a rainy day and spent many hours at the Buckham Memorial Library studying and reading books on investing.  For the past few years Bob was a resident at Milestone Senior Living.  He would be the first at breakfast every morning where he would greet everyone by name and ate his favorite, bacon, everyday.  Bob was fluent in Spanish and was a patient teacher for the staff at Milestone.

Bob is survived by all of his friends at Milestone Senior Living.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault at a later date.
