Richard N. Clammer, age 78 of Faribault, MN passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Brookdale Senior Living in Faribault.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held for the family and interment will be held at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Faribault.
Funeral arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.
Richard was born January 16th, 1942 to Frank and Ann Clammer of Reading, PA. He graduated from Reading High School. He came to Minnesota in 1964 and found the love of his life Geraldine. They were united in marriage on January 30, 1965. He started his career as a baker in Stillwater, MN and then moved on to route sales at Taystee Bread and Old Dutch. Richard spent over 40 years as a softball umpire, one of his true joys in life. He was also an avid ice fisherman and enjoyed traveling the world with his wife.
Richard is survived by his wife Geraldine Clammer of Faribault, MN; sons, Keith Clammer of West Concord, Joseph Clammer (Lynn Kiefer) of Faribault, David Clammer of Warsaw, MN; daughter, Juliann (Arlo) Ziemke of Morristown, MN; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ann Clammer; and mother and father-in-law, Albert and Marie Roettger.
