Phyllis Bulson

Phyllis L. Bulson, age 74, of Grand Rapids, MN and formerly of Faribault, MN passed away Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018 at her home. Phyllis was born in 1943 to Vincent and Helen Hendrickson in Albert Lea, MN where she also grew up and attended school. She was united in marriage to Merlyn Bulson on December 13, 1962. Phyllis worked for over 40 years at Wimpy's Restaurant in Faribault, cooking, baking and waitressing. Phyllis was a devout Chicago Cubs fan who enjoyed puzzles and crosswords. Being an avid animal lover, she enjoyed bird watching, and loved all animals, and especially her dog Ernie.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Merlyn; sister, Linda Jenkins; brother, Jay Hendrickson, and her beloved dog, Ernie.

Phyllis is survived by two daughters, Andrea Peterson of Keewatin, MN and Angela (Chris) Tepley of Bovey, MN; four sons, Tony (Margaret) Bulson of Lakeville, MN, Vince (Andrea) Bulson of LaPraire, MN, Andy Bulson of Faribault, MN, Arron Bulson of Prior Lake, MN; three sisters, Terry (Nick) Nielsen of Stewartville, MN, Jane (Dean) Norby of Osage, IA and Barbara Fraley of Albert Lea, MN; one brother, Dick (Jeanette) Hendrickson of Gilbert, AZ; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Friday, March 2nd from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
