Patricia A. Jandro

Patricia A. Jandro, age 93 of Faribault, MN passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at New Perspective Senior Living in Faribault.

Patricia Ann, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Hunt) Kalien, was born on July 11, 1931 in Faribault, MN. She grew up in Faribault and attended Faribault High School. Patricia worked as a waitress and for Genova for many years. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Roger “Swede” Jandro on November 24, 1951 in Cherry Point, NC. They moved to Colorado following their retirement. Patricia moved back to Faribault in 2008. She enjoyed playing bingo, attending her grandchildren’s events, and spending time with her family.

Patricia is survived by her sons, Steve (Norma) of Westcliffe, CO, Daniel “Joe” (Jeanne) of Faribault, Floyd of Westcliffe, CO, and Howard (Chris) of Apple Valley; six grandchildren, Abby (Paul), Andrew, Daniel (Meghan), Jon (Tasha), Riley, and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Kieron, Tyler, Axel, Otto, Calvin, and Delaney; nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Swede; parents; brother, Donald Kalien; sisters, Doris Krenske and Rosemary Bongers; granddaughter-in-law, Ashley Jandro; and many dear in-laws.

Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault with Bernadette Tatge, Pastoral Minister at Divine Mercy Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
