Oscar J. Dagan, age 95 of Eagle Lake, died on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the Janesville Nursing Home.    Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 18th at 11:30 a.m. at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home and Crematory in Janesville, with Rev. Dr. Larry Griffin, officiating. Private family interment will be held.       Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 18th from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home and Crematory in Janesville. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.      Oscar John was born on March 19, 1915 in LeRay Township, Blue Earth County, Minnesota to Adolph and Freeda (Reetz) Dagan. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in St. Clair. Oscar attended the Rackett Country School in LeRay Township. He farmed all of his life, and was proud of his Grade A dairy farm. Oscar was an avid traveler and enjoyed his many trips around the world. He had a passion for collecting antique gas engines and tractors, and was a lifetime member of LeSueur County Pioneer Power. Oscar enjoyed time spent on his farm, and visiting with his family and friends.    He is survived by two nephews, Brian (Gina) Dagan of Eagle Lake, Doug (Sheryl) Meline of Dallas, TX; by three nieces, Darlene (Al) Buhler of Janesville, Brenda (Victor) Wilcox of Good Thunder and Marsha (Jim) Hayes of Beacon NY; by his sister-in-law Gladys Dagan of Eagle Lake; by many great nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.        He was preceded in death by his parents; by his brother Donald Dagan; and by two sisters, Ruth Cords and Ardella Shoop.
