Oreste Quintana Vigil

Oreste Quintana Vigil, de 24 años, de Faribault, falleció el viernes 4 de diciembre del 2020 en el Children's Hospital de Minneapolis.

Oreste nació el 27 de junio de 1996 en San Salvador, El Salvador de Oreste Quintana y Miriam Evelyn Vigil. Oreste se graduó de Faribault Senior High School con la generación del 2016. Fue miembro activo de la Iglesia Nueva Vida en Cristo, asistiendo al grupo de jóvenes y al grupo de hombres. Disfrutaba del baloncesto, la música, el boxeo, los videojuegos, comer pizza y pasar tiempo con sus amigos y su familia.

Oreste vivió con su madre, Miriam Vigil; padrastro, Josué Morales; Tres hermanos; una hermana; y otros familiares y amigos.

Le precedió en la muerte su padre, Oreste Quintana.

Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo el martes 8 de diciembre del 2020 a las 5:00 p.m. en la funeraria Parker Kohl, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, con el pastor Eddie Feliciano, oficiando. El velorio se llevará a cabo el martes de 4:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m. Para aquellos que no puedan asistir, el servicio se transmitirá en vivo a través de un enlace en la página del obituario de Oreste.

Oreste Quintana Vigil, age 24, of Faribault, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis.

Oreste was born on June 27, 1996 in San Salvador, El Salvador to Oreste Quintana and Miriam Evelyn Vigil. Oreste graduated from Faribault Senior High School with the Class of 2016. He was an active member of the New Life in Christ Church, attending youth group and men’s group. He enjoyed basketball, music, boxing, video games, eating pizza and spending time with his friend and family.

Oreste is survived by his mother, Miriam Vigil; stepfather, Josue Morales; three brothers; one sister; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Oreste Quintana.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, with Pastor Eddie Feliciano, officiating.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.  For those unable to attend, the service will be live streamed through a link on Oreste’s obituary page.
