Norma J. Schroeder, age 82 of Waseca, was born into eternal life on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 8th at 2:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church Waseca with Rev. Steve Bohling, officiating. Interment will be in the Woodville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday afternoon from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church. McRaith Funeral Home and Crematory of Waseca is handling arrangements. Norma Jean was born on January 22, 1928 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Halver and Mattie (Sorenson) Share. As a child, she grew up in LeRoy, Minnesota, where in 1946 she graduated from high school. She continued to live in LeRoy for a short time before moving to Waseca to begin working for Herter's Inc. Following 10 years with Herters, Norma had a long career with Brown Printing Company, retiring after 23 years of service. Norma was a very active member of St. John Lutheran Church, and was a life member of the Waseca Eagles Auxiliary #3753 having held various offices. Norma enjoyed crocheting, quilting, playing the piano, and time spent with her family. She is survived by her son William (Jacklyn) Schroeder of Waseca, and her daughters Mary (David) Schema of Waseca, and Kathleen (Stuart) Kuyper of Albuquerque, NM; by her grandchildren Michael Kuyper, Lisa (Michael) Archibeque, Betsy (Tony) Tibor, Michelle Schroeder, and Sarah (David) Shannon; by her great grandchildren Gracie and Addison Archibeque, and Mattie Shannon. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Michael Clayton Schroeder in 1954.
