Norbert "Jerry" Siebenaler

Norbert “Jerry” Siebenaler, age 79, of Faribault, MN passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, with Bernadette Tatge, pastoral minister at Divine Mercy Catholic Church officiating.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Norbert Jerome was born on July 19, 1940 in Hastings, MN to Jerome and Mary Jane (Black) Siebenaler.  Jerry served in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged on April 1, 1961.  He was united in marriage to Theresa Kimmes on May 14, 1966.  He attended Ritter Beauty School in St. Paul, MN, and taught cosmetology in Faribault for Ritter Beauty School.  Jerry owned and operated Family Hair Styling for many years and worked for Fairway Foods.  He then worked at Mystic Lake Casino and was a courtesy driver for Harry Browns.  Jerry and Theresa wintered in Arizona for many years and he enjoyed woodworking in his spare time.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Siebenaler of Faribault; children, Andy (Renee) Siebenaler of Papillion, NE, and Adele (John) Juliar of Owatonna, MN; grandchildren, Samantha Lynn (Shawn) Whittington, Bennet Siebenaler, Liam Miller, and Morgan Miller; step-grandsons, Tyler (Kirstie) Juliar, Logan (Taylor) Juliar, Kelly Juliar, and Garrett Juliar; step great grandchild, Ryker Juliar; brothers, Bob (Marg) Siebenaler of Hudson, WI, and Tom (Mary) Siebenaler of Lakeville, MN; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be directed to Bethlehem Academy for tuition assistance or supplies in memory of Jerry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Mary Jane; brother, David Siebenaler; sister, Barb Staples; and nephew, Mark Siebenaler.
