Nicholas William Morrison-Buhr enjoyed 33 years of life before he passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019.
A resident of Stockbridge, Georgia, he is survived by his spouse, Johnny Stephen Morrison-Buhr; parents, Gene and Barbara Buhr; siblings, Heidi (William) Mittelsteadt, Daniel (Katherine) Buhr, and Katherine (Joel) deRegnier; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Nick was born and grew up in Faribault, MN. His parents taught him that with love, hard work, and determination he could achieve his dreams. He learned to have passion for education and music, which led him to play multiple instruments and receive his Juris Doctorate at John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, GA.
In 2017 he rediscovered his love for God and became a member of The Cathedral of Saint Philip, where he married the love of his life, Johnny Morrison-Buhr, on July 7, 2018. A memorial service for Nick was held there.
Local memorial services will be held on Monday, Dec. 2, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, with Reverend Henry Doyle, officiating. Memorial visitation will be held on Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
His final resting place will be with his beloved grandparents Herbert and Lucille Buhr in Sumner, Iowa.
