Nance Heise-Sharp

Nance L. Heise-Sharp, age 72 of Faribault, MN passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN following a courageous battle with COPD.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N. in Faribault with Pastor Mike Hasseltine officiating.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Nance Lee, the daughter of John and Mary (Zimmerman) Auwerter, was born on May 26, 1946 in Austin, MN.  She attended Austin High School.  In 1970 she was united in marriage to Stephen Sharp in San Diego, CA and together they enjoyed 49 years of marriage.  Nance worked for 20 years as the general manager of the Perkins restaurant in Owatonna, MN and then they moved to San Diego and she worked at Jack In The Box corporate office.  Later they would return to Faribault and worked at Wal-Mart part time  in retirement.  Nance loved being outdoors and especially loved being at the ocean.  She also enjoyed reading, fishing and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Sharp of Faribault; by two daughters, Terri (Mike) Hall of Blaine, MN and Trisha (John) Sharp-Caron of Faribault, MN; by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; by six siblings, Sandra Heise of Claremont, MN, Ronald (Lena) Heise of Owatonna, MN, Gregory (Sandra) Heise of Colorado, Karen (Steve) Ulrich of Claremont, MN, Michael (Sara) Heise of Ellendale, MN and Mary (Dino) Layton of Arkansas and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded by her parents, John and Mary Auwerter, by her son, Todd Stahl and by two brothers, Terrance and Daniel Heise.
