Milton Winjum

Milton K. "Milt" Winjum, age 81 of Faribault, MN passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Reflections Unit at Three Links Care Center in Northfield, MN following an extended illness.

Memorial visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Thursday, January 4, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault at a later date.

Milton Keith, the son of Roy Sr. and Gertrude (Pofahl) Winjum, was born on October 25, 1936 in Faribault, MN. He attended Faribault High School and graduated with the class of 1954. After high school Milt served in the U.S. Navy and then received his degree in accounting from the University of Tulsa and began working as a CPA at Oral Roberts University. In September of 1957 he was united in marriage to Nancy Hildebrandt at the First English Lutheran Church in Faribault. They later divorced. Milt started his own business, Milt Winjum CPA, in Faribault and later worked for 17 years as a CPA and CEO for ABC Bus Companies. Milt enjoyed backing all of our local sports teams and was a huge fan of the Vikings and Twins. He also loved to play golf and bingo.

He is survived by his three daughters, Linda Winjum and Brenda (Mike) Mahoney, both of Faribault, MN and Lisa (Tony) Knott of Owatonna, MN; by five grandchildren; by three brothers, Wayne (Esther) Winjum and Roy (Myrna) Winjum Jr. both of Faribault, MN and Jack (Connie) Winjum of Burnsville, MN and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister-in-law, Pat Winjum.
