Michael Truman

Michael A. Truman, age 57, formerly of Faribault, MN, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN, following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault.

Michael Allan was born on June 28, 1961 in Faribault to LeRoy "Harry" and Arlys (Radtke) Truman. He graduated from Hastings High School. Mike worked as a cook for restaurants in several Wisconsin and Minnesota communities. He had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. As a young boy Mike would watch his Dad play fast pitch softball and was able to teach himself how to do the windmill throw at a very young age. Mike was married to Michelle Birkeland on October 4, 1997 and they were later divorced.

Mike gave the gift of life to others by being an organ and tissue donor.

He is survived by his father, Harry Truman (Lois Christen) of Faribault; step-father, Ray Piller of Trego, WI; brothers, Steve Truman (Jenelle Sherry) & family, Scott (Janice) McAdam & family, Randy (Tracy) McAdam & family, Ron (Amanda) McAdam & family, Todd (Carol) Piller & family, Jeff (Mary) Piller & family, and Greg (Wendy) Piller & family; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Arlys Piller on October 16, 2016; and nephew, Cole McAdam on April 7, 2018.
