Michael C. Huber, age 61, of Faribault, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at his home surrounded by family, following a short battle with cancer. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church at Immaculate Conception in Faribault. Interment will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault. Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday for one hour prior to the services at the church. Memorials may be directed to the Faribault Area Hospice or Bethlehem Academy in Michael's memory. Michael Craig Huber, the son of Walter and Mae (Malley) Huber, was born on January 26, 1948 in Fargo, ND. He was united in marriage to Dotty Perron on May 8, 1965 in Spencer, Iowa. He attended Bethlehem Academy and was a Master Plumber with Lockman Plumbing, and later for Local #6. Michael loved his family and was a caring and generous man. He was so knowledgeable that his family turned to him first for all their questions about building and remodeling projects. He is survived by his wife, Dotty of Faribault; four children, Terri Huber, Dede (Tom) Von Ruden, Brian (Vicki) Huber, and Jill (Randy) Boudreau, all of Faribault; 12 grandchildren, Jason (Kelly) Huber, Kyle Eckstein, Adam, Samantha, Mikayla, and Christian Von Ruden, Alicia Calcutt, Saam and Ellee Huber, Miranda, Rachel, and Emily Boudreau; sister, Patty (Paul) Griffin of Elko, MN; brother, John (Ruth) Huber of Northfield; his mother-in-law, Charlotte Perron of Faribault; his sisters-in-law, Judy Noland of Faribault, and Bonnie (Guy) Hoefer of Tewksbury, MA; two brothers-in-law, Wally (Sylvia) Perron, of Cleveland, MN, and Dave (Debbie) Perron of Eagan, MN; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; niece, Lisa Abram; father-in-law, Lionel Perron; and brother-in-law, Robert Dickison.
