Melanie Beth Beck, age 43, of Faribault, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at her home.
A gathering time for family and friends will take place on Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 4:30 - 5:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, 1000 Shumway Ave., Faribault, MN, on the Shattuck-St. Mary's Campus. A time for prayer and remembrance will be at 5:00 p.m.

Melanie Beth was born on October 24, 1973 in Miami, FL to Kenneth Herriott and Patricia Dilmore. Melanie was raised in the Miami area and attended college in Florida. She was married to Daniel J. Beck on November 30, 2002, in Fort Myers, FL. They lived in Lehigh Acres, FL, and Waterloo, Iowa, prior to moving to Faribault in 2012. Melanie enjoyed being a mother and had great joy while interacting with her children.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Beck; daughters, Carly Hitchcock and Jordan Beck; step-children, Damon Beck and Alissha Disla; mother, Patricia (Eric) Stubkjaer; father, Ken (Haley) Herriott; sister, Lisa (Dan) Piel; mother-in-law, Florence Beck; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Myron Beck.
