Maurine Caspari

Maurine C. Caspari, age 72 of Faribault, MN and formerly of Morristown, MN died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at her home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Faribault Church of Christ on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Burial will be held at the Sakatah Cemetery in Waterville, MN at a later date.

Maurine Carol, the daughter of Lucias and Ellen (Stam) Remington, was born on April 20, 1947 in Faribault.  She attended Waterville High School and graduated with the class of 1965.  Following high school Maurine started a 39 year career at E.F. Johnson in Waseca and later worked at Walmart in the stockroom for 10 years.  On November 2, 1979 she was united in marriage to Daniel Caspari in LeCenter, MN.  Daniel preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 2017.  Maurine enjoyed taking scenic photos and being creative and would show that with her sewing, crocheting and crafting.  She also loved spending time with her family and especially with her granddaughter Anneke.

She is survived by her siblings, Richard (Bonnie) Savoie of Idaho, Kathy (Kenny) Robertson of Owatonna, MN, Phyllis (Fred) Brandt of Mankato, MN, Denise Toomey of Florida and Pete (Karen) Remington of Morristown, MN; by a special niece, Carrie (Remington) Luna of Indiana; by her granddaughter, Anneke Luna; sister-in-law, Sally Remington of Wells, MN; brother-in-law, Patrick Vanier of Florida; mother-in-law, Dorothy (Haberman) Caspari and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Linda Froderman and Debbie Vanier, brother, Alan Remington, father-in-law, Herbert Caspari and brother-in-law, Patrick Toomey.
