Mary C. Heil, age 93, of Faribault, died Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the Three Links Care Center in Northfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault (139 Mercy Drive). Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Faribault. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home of Faribault. Mary Catherine Foley, the daughter of William and Mary Ann (McGillen) Foley was born on August 26, 1916 in Erin Township, Rice County, MN. She graduated from Montgomery High School. Mary worked at the mail order desk for 20 years at Montgomery Wards in Faribault and in the payroll department for the Faribault School District for over 20 years. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, delivered meals on wheels, took communion to hospital patients, and was a longtime member of St. Lawrence Church in Faribault. She is survived by her two daughters, Janice Thom of Faribault and Mary Kay Krueger of Burnsville; eight grandchildren, Steven (Frances) Thom, Jamie (John) Lang, Sharon (Tom) Maas, Michael (Carol) Thom, Jennifer (Charlie) Schad, Ted Krueger, Julie (Tom) Anderson, and Richard (Annie) Krueger; 20 great grandchildren; special friend, Lois Malecha of Faribault; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Agnes Pexa; brother, Frances Foley; son, Kenneth William Heil; and granddaughter, Kathleen Jane Thom.
